FAQs
What are Invisalign™ Aligner Seaters?
Medical-grade silicone chews with a patent-pending quatrefoil shape, designed to seat clear aligners properly and relieve any discomfort associated with orthodontics. Properly seated aligners increase the likelihood that the pre-programmed force systems built into your aligners are delivered as accurately and efficiently as possible.
How are Aligner Seaters different from Munchies™ EPS?
Both are medical-grade silicone seating tools. The Aligner Seaters feature a distinctive patent-pending quatrefoil shape, while Munchies™ EPS have a three-arm Enhanced Posterior Seating design targeting specific mouth positions. The Aligner Seaters also come in a softer density Blue option for more sensitive use.
How do I use Aligner Seaters?
1. While wearing your clear aligners, use your fingers or an aligner removal tool to place an Aligner Seater lengthwise between your jaws.
2. Chew on the Seater, moving between front and back teeth, or bite down on a specific area.
3. Use a Blue Aligner Seater for a softer experience.
